Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia HE Ahmed Issa Awad received a copy of the credentials of Hassan Hamza Asad Mohammed Hashem as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Somalia.

HE the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Somalia Hassan Hamza Asad Hashem handed over the donation from the State of Qatar to the Somali Government. The donation included 30 transport buses and two large cranes and was within the efforts to consolidate joint cooperative relations.

The State of Qatar has strongly condemned a car bomb explosion near to the Parliament and Interior Ministry buildings in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, which caused a number of deaths and injuries.

His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday issued Emiri Decision No 10 of 2018 appointing Hassan Hamza Asad Hashem as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Federal Republic of Somalia.
