Geographical location

Somalia is located in the Horn of Africa, bordered to the northwest by Djibouti, Kenya to the southwest, the Gulf of Aden to the north, the Indian Ocean to the east and Ethiopia to the west. It has the longest maritime boundary in Africa. Its terrain is characterized by a diversity of highlands, plains and highlands.
