HH the Amir sends a cable of condolences to President of Somalia on the victims of a car bomb explosion that took place in the capital Mogadhisu.

The State of Qatar strongly condemned the explosion of a car bomb in the center of Somalia's capital Mogadishu, which led to a number of deaths and injuries.

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani discussed with HE President of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo the strong bilateral relations between both countries and ways to boost and develop them in various fields.

Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will meet with President Mohammed Abdullah Farmaajo of the sisterly Federal Republic of Somalia, at the Amiri Diwan, today.

Ms. Amal Abdul Latif Al Mannai, Executive Director of Qatar Foundation for Social Work, met with HE Deika Yassin Haji, Minister of Women and Human Rights of the Republic of Somalia, who is currently visiting the country.

NHRC Chairman Dr Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri met with the Minister of Women and Human Rights Development in the Federal Republic of Somalia, Deqa Yasin Hagi, who is currently visiting the country.

HE Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi met with Somalia's Minister of Women and Human Rights Development Deqa Yasin Hagi.

HE Mr. Yousef bin Mohammed Al Othman Fakhroo, Minister of Administrative Development, Labour & Social Affairs met with HE Ms. Deqa Yasin, Minister of Women and Human Rights Development and the accompanying delegation, during their visit to the country.

President of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullah Farmajo, has thanked the government and people of Qatar under the leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, for undertaking development and humanitarian projects in Somalia and for its assistance to the people and government of Somalia in various fields.

Zainab Abdi Moallim, wife of the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, accompanied by Minister of Public Health H E Dr Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari visited a number of health facilities in the country.
