The State of Qatar has expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of the two explosions which took place in the town of Baidoa in southern Somalia, causing deaths and injuries.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of their motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims' families and to the government and people of Somalia, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
