The Embassy of the State of Qatar in the sisterly Federal Republic of Somalia celebrated, on the National Day of the State, and His Excellency Mr. Hassan bin Hamza Hashem, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Somalia, received congratulations from senior officials of the Somali government on this occasion, led by the Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble, as well as ministers, representatives, civil society leaders and high-level social figures from all states of the country.

His Excellency also received congratulations from the ambassadors and representatives of international and regional organizations accredited to Mogadishu, where all well-wishers expressed their admiration for the great achievements and progress made by the State of Qatar in various fields.

For his part, HE the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Somalia Hassan bin Hamza Hashem, in a speech on this occasion, drew attention to the successes of the State of Qatar and its progress in achieving its ambitious goals and strategies.

His Excellency expressed his pride in the state's achievements at all levels, making it a global destination in the fields of diplomacy and mediation, achieving peace, spreading a culture of tolerance and hosting major sporting events.

His Excellency also referred to the efforts made to organize and host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and the resounding success that accompanied the organization of the Arab Cup.

His Excellency stressed the strength and development of bilateral relations between Qatar and Somalia.
