His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a phone call from HE President of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo this evening.

During the phone call, HE the Somali President expressed his sincere thanks to HH The Amir for the State of Qatar's efforts and endeavors to heal the rift between the Federal Republic of Somalia and the Republic of Kenya, which resulted in the restoration of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

For his part, HH The Amir expressed his congratulations to the Somali President for this wise decision.
