The Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Somalia celebrated the National Day. In a speech on this occasion, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Somalia Hassan bin Hamza Hashem expressed pride in the great achievements made by the State of Qatar during an exceptional period in which the whole world suffers from the COVID-19 pandemic effects, pointing to Qatar's pioneering efforts in supporting countries of the world to confront the COVID-19 outbreak.

HE the Ambassador affirmed that the Qatari-Somali relations are witnessing a great development at all levels and fields.

In the context, HE the Ambassador received congratulations from senior officials in the Somali government and ambassadors accredited to Mogadishu on this occasion, expressing their admiration for the great achievements made by the State of Qatar in various fields under its wise leadership.

The Federal Government of Somalia, represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, sent a cable of congratulations to the leadership of the State of Qatar and the Qatari people, in which it expressed its warmest congratulations on the occasion of the National Day, wishing further progress and prosperity for the Qatari people under the wise leadership.
